I'll get these bolted on my tractor tomorrow or Saturday for testing and
adjustment, then they'll be on their way back to John in Kansas on Monday.

Looks like you've done it again....saved two more pieces of history.
JJ, should get some good use of those two!!!

"Almost to good to mount back up."

Thanks for the compliment! They wouldn't be much good if you
didn't use them though! I'll run some gas through them, make
sure I can get a good idle and full throttle/power, then drain and
dry them out to get rid of all the gas smell so the post office can
safely deliver them. Worst part is that gas likes to damage that
fresh paint, so I have to be careful or I'm repainting them! LOL

Yep I learned my lesson on not getting gas on a newly painted carb! Haven't made the same mistake twice. They look great!

(quoted from post at 18:31:30 10/17/14) thanks Gary, two more to go, from here looks like Royse did a great job

(quoted from post at 10:59:42 10/17/14) What do you put on them for rust prevention?

Lisa I never paint anything like carburetors and governors and small parts and pieces such as gas lines and the heads of bolts. I just give then a shot of satin high heat clearcoat to prevent rust from rustoleum. I tend to like the natural look.

They would make an excellent conversation piece on my office desk. Being from lower New York not many people understand why I am into old tractors and they would have no idea as to what the heck that thing is.
To them unless it has the word Holly stamped on it there is no other carburetor.
