been working so much had very little tractor time.

took me a week to get around to drilling out a broke bolt. on the starter on my 941D

did some arb work on my hay mover.. but still need to repalce plugs.. got a skip and think it's #1 cyl fouled. Of course it will be #1... because the power stering line is inthe way. :)

Ahhhh yes, another joy of retirement! All the power equipment will run! :)

The N's around here are doing fine, just need their annual oil change. Garden is about done for the year.

Biggest project for me is trying to do something about the gas mileage on the A Model. 14 mpg doesn't cut it.

We have lots of room in our house, Bruce, and lots of projects to keep you busy. And the weather is still decent. :)

Looks like another good info-torial in the N News. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Hope you get that mileage up. Aren't the Model As supposed to be close to 30mpg?

Colin

I hear ya! I had hoped to finish putting the '50 8N back together and solve my miss/no compression issue with the '47 2N this summer, but too much going on here as well. Oh, and then there's that problem with the 961D. :-(

Hey, I was raised around farming; I know better than to visit a farmer when the crops still need work!

If all is right w/ an A Model, 20 mpg is good. I'm getting 14. Just went through the carb again today (it's been raining here). I think I found the problem. I'll know in about another 60 miles or so.

It is the year for probe, I got 3 carbs pulled to rebuild, one was so dang bad I had to get a spare from a board member, last time I found one unrebuildable was when Florida went ethanol then had a wet winter!

Nice article, bit you forgot to draw in the resistor that many of the board members think the manufacturer hides in the can LMAO!

:)

Yep..plenty. unfortunately Dad's Grundig radio doesn't get AM any more!
Hey....Idea maybe I can add an antennae and listen to some tunes on the 8N.
