8 N Hydrolic Lift Problem

My 1952 8n Ford's hydrolic lift raises bush hog good when first started, but, looses lift when it warms up & will not re-lift mower. What parts of system needs repair/rebuild. The entire system or specific parts?. Thanks, Doug

Following information is from a 2N that had same problem with a Dearborn FEL in the way.

Along with Bruce's tip I would like to add that the movement I saw was from the PTO rotating in the fluid was alot. Another thing I needed to do was get a inspection mirror and light to better see what I was looking at inside. My issue turned out to be a blown gasket on pump/chamber.
I went ahead and replaced the relief valve and switched to NAA piston/o-ring system since I was in there.
