I have 2 6 volt generators one from a 2N the other takes a saddle bracket I don't have both in great shape $100 each

You really should use the classifieds or photo ads here on
YT to advertise, but I wish you the best of luck anyway.
I tried to give one away on the forum a little while back.
No takers, so I sold it on eBay. It brought $30 + shipping.

Wish I had known..I would have grabbed it for either
of the prices you named..I'd like to go back to 6
volt...

No, all I ever had (6 volt) was a junker I got with the tractor when I bought it in 04--tractor had no gen or alt. on it when I got it--he just had a rigged up idler so fan/water pump would work and he was just running it on a hot 12 volt battery with a 12 to 6 dropping resistor..I immediately did the 12 volt conversion and have always wished I had stayed 6 volts just because that's the way it is suppose to be..

I can't remember the name of the guy I got my gen from on this forum (age showing again) but it's been a jewel. He had it rebuilt but converted over to 12V. Gen sat on a shelf at his place for a year or so when I bought it. Hope you get a good one.

Tom...by the way, if you want a bolt-on-turn-key gen...I understand. I did and it happened. If you want one to rebuild, I'd be happy to send 2 to you that you could probably make one from...can't promise anything but it's a option for you. One is a good candidate for a rebuild while the other might be spare parts. Only charge would be for shipping.

John, Thanks so much. I do need to try to find one ready to bolt on--not sure of any local place I could get one rebuilt. Thanks again.
