I was doing a little research on rollover plows this evening and checked to see what was on tractorhouse.
Saw this slatted plow for sale in KY.
These aren't very common and would look nice on an N at a show.
Price is a bit high but it looks complete so I think it's not out of the zone.
Plow

Slats scour in mucky soils where a solid moldboard won't.

They were common in my area for that reason.

I talked to used tractor and implement dealer in TN about them. He told me they were used in sandy soil but did not give a reason. I have one but it is not in very good condition. Some slats are broken and the shares need to be replaced. It is far down on my lists of projects.

Less surface area for the dirt to stick too.

That plow doesn't seem all that high to me.They most likely have it priced slightly high so they can come down.

In my part of nebraska. A good ferguson plow with both coulters will bring $225-275. If it has jointers they will hit $300-375

looks cool
fair price
Ford/dearborn/ferguson 2 bottoms run 300-500 here depending on condition

I have standing orders from a few small dealer friends of mine
to let NO 1 or 2 bottom Ford/dearborn/ferguson plow that aren't broken be sold for less than $200-$250 plus the percentage if they can't make it to the auction. Buy em all, bring em over.
They know they are solid money makers.
