In and out of the clouds. Thought at one time it was going to rain. 2 1/2" of rain fri and sat 30 mi e of GR.

You're not far from me, I'm just North of Ionia.
It did rain here today, although nothing like yesterday.
Just cold and windy all day. Felt more like November.

haha thanks for flipping it Royse!! Sheesh I was beginning to think women didn't drive tractors! Wish I could ever get the mr to take pic of me on mine...always seems to be the other way around.

Only time my SWMBO was on my 2N was to hold the brake while I used bucket to protect fence whle cutting a downed branch. And I've tractor for over 3 years.

Where have you been Dan? Hope everything is going Ok.
Don't know for sure on the model. Maybe a 2110 LCG?

Royce I envy you and the others where the Misus enjoy our passions. I couldn't get my X-wife to even come out to plant a tulip.

That's why I had to trade her in for an older model..... a Ford 8N

Thanks greywolf, I think we're pretty luck too.
Not long ago Joan was a city girl. I'll never forget the time she stuck
her fingernails in the fan of the 9N when it was running.
Neither will she!
Took a while to get her over the fear that caused, but now she's gotten
used to the fact that these were made before we needed guards and
warning stickers over everything that could possibly harm you.
She works hard on most of our tractors, does a lot of the cleaning,
sanding and, of course, inspection. "Hey! You missed a spot!" LOL :)

Nice tractors you have there Royse. The driver
makes the pictures so much better.Glad to see the
wife enjoys driving all your toys as well. I'll
have to stop in and check out your place.

Happy for you!

Interesting observation you made:

"Took a while to get her over the fear that caused, but now she's gotten used to the fact that these were made before we needed guards and caution stickers . . . "

Part of the cultivated and conditioned process whereby common sense isn't "common" anymore.

Reminds me of when I let a customer help with a rebuild installation that I did for her. When someone is helping one can subliminally assume that two people are doing the necessary thinking. I left the rad cap off to remind me that I hadn't filled it yet. She put the cap on. I caught it in time but not before a startup over-heat which gave me sleepless nights for a bit. :)

Another time I pull-started my first rebuild, got it running then stopped & shut it off. My brother says, lets check the timing etc. I said, well the book says to make sure the engine is getting oil so I pulled the valve cover (thank god)! I had only sunk the distributor shaft enough to engage the rotor but not the oil pump! :D

You're welcome to stop by any time Leo.
The Minni-Moe is not mine, that was at the Oakley show.
Somewhere I have pictures of her driving the JD A and the F20 too.
All four of those tractors have since been sold to make room for others.
That Deutz-Allis was a great running little diesel. Worthless for
much other than mowing the yard, but it ran great! LOL
