On the way home from work today, someone had set a Midwestern Industries / Davis Loader Model 100 out by the road for sale. It looks well built and compact. Can anyone tell me if this is for an N series tractor?

I did a google image search and it looks like there are a couple of photos of that loader on an N. Several other tractors too.

It will probably fit but you will need the Ford not Massey mounting brackets, items 11, 12, and 14 in the diagram.

Thanks for the info. I will have to stop and see what it was mounted on. The brackets to mount it are are there, so if they are not right, it might be possible to modify them.

I stopped and looked at it today. It had come off of a Jubilee, but I could tell the brackets had been lengthened, so it must have been intended for a shorter wheel-based tractor. There was a front pump and coupling disk there with it.

Your N has a shorter wheel base it should mount up..
I have had 3 fords with loaders a N a 850 and a 3000. I took the loaders off to work on them and repair all the stuff the loader tore up I did not have the heart to mount a loader back on them...

I'm with Hobo. I had a wagner on my 9N for years and was glad to get rid of it. Larger tractors with power steering its probably OK. Never had one. Dirt scoop on an N works much better

Fully understand your feelings there, that is why I don't want to put the Wagner loader back on the Oliver. My thoughts were to get a ratty 2N from down the road to mount it on vice mounting it on the 8N and use it for snow removal.
