Called our sponsor for a 3 wire gen for 8N it has been out of stock since Christ was a LCP. Ya still out of stock, the young man says, why dont you go HEI 12V. ya right just what I need. No I want to keep 6V it works perfect just need genny. Well we dont have any cores, he says , I will send you mine to rebuild says I, no can do nobody to do a rebuild them but were working on it. Well good Ill hold my breath and wait. I bet nobody at YT even knows there is a problem. I have tried to buy from here and always have issues, must be me. While looking for a genny on ebay they all have the same line USED Came off a RUNNING tractor, the battery will need to be recharged everyday but the genny is off a running tractor, must be me. god save the queen and pass the ammo.

if you don't have a local rebuilder. try napa. last time i looked napa's ag catalog had N genny...

I've never bought a new 6v generator for anything, car truck or tractor. And, given the price & quality work they do, I just have them rebuilt by:

They do mail order work. And they also rebuild clutches, pressure plates, water pumps, alternators, carbs, starters & reline brakes.
