ATTN YT Support: Can't post in classic

When I log in to classic, I enter my handle Bruce(VA) and paasword. When I get to the thread, it asks me again for the same info, ie, I'm not logged in.

I see that you told Dave H (MI) that the problem appears to be the parentheses in our user names: [i:0ba046419e]" But it's the login program that is having trouble with the parentheses in your username."[/i:0ba046419e]

So, while waiting for you to fix that, I figured I'd just re-register undr a new handle & password: BruceVA

No-go.....it says a user already has that email address. (yea, that would be me)

I'd probably be better off using Modern View.....but I can't figure out how to post pictures & a link there.

Anyway.....are you planning a fix of the parentheses problem or do I need to bite the bullet and learn modern view?

Or get outside & get to work & quit screwing around on the PC? :)

Chris is working on this and may have it fixed now or by this morning. See the Site Comments forum for additional information on the issue. It is an anomaly at our end that affected login names containing parentheses.

Posting pictures and links on modern view is simple. To post a picture just type
To post a link just type Put address here with no spaces and then I hope this info helps.
 

I post them off my phone which seems the easiest since I never use a regular camera anymore. No messing with anything in either view. At the bottom it says Upload photos...Browse (on your phone) and it links it and just click continue...way easier to me than uploading to the computer or photobucket.
 
Bruce, in modern view, if you have the pictures on another site do the img thing you were told already. For pictures directly from your puter in modern view as you are posting scroll down you will see "upload photos" Click on that and find the picture. It uploads it to YT and automatically inserts the link.

This is probably not applicable, but I use Mac and I generally have my cookies turned off. I only turn them on to log in to things. In short, cookies have to be turned on to log in.
