It was nice meeting you and your son and daughter in law Saturday. Hope the rim works out good for you. Thought you might get a laugh out of this. Went to unload the tractor today and it fired once and wouldn't restart...Checked voltage everywhere and was good. Gas was a little low so put some gas in it. No go...Took the fuel bowl off and dumped and replaced..tapped on the carb and got gas to drip into the bowl when tapping...tried starting to see if the bowl would fill...nope...either needle and seat or the float is stuck...had to push it back off the trailer so I could get little lady home...Suppose all them miles back home knocked something loose in the carb? Here I was hoping to start on one of the other tractors today but between that and looking at the ac and working on his 2n the day was shot.

It was great to meet you too. Good deal for me too. Too bad about the 8N. Nice looking tractor too. Hope it's an easy, cheap fix.

My SIL and daughter thought you guys were pretty nice. SIL is back out tomorrow morning for another couple of weeks. I was combining most of the day so I didn't even get the tire/rim unloaded. Guess that will wait till later this week.

Glad that you arrived home safe. Pleasure doing business with you.

Rick

Hope you can get that wheat off soon. Talking upper 70s by the end of the week. I think just a simple pull the carb blow passages and check float level, needle and seat and will get it going again. Goes to show just like a vehicle never know when something will go wrong even if you just buy it! Im sorry...that's your daughter and your sil..I got it backwards! I should remember that!

Well I guess combining is on hold for a day or 2. VA gave me lube shots in my knees this AM. I honestly don't know if I can depress the clutch  ! Gee only 2 more treatments  .

And then if that don't work new knees.

Rick

Well that downright sucks! Hope they work before having to get new knees. Of course new knees might make ya feel 30 again!
