First let me say that Bruce was right....only the oem resistor on
12v conversion. I took out the white porcelain resister and she
started right up and ran fairly smooth. I hooked up the bush hog
and proceeded to mow the pasture. Once she got hot she
started spitting and sputtering...then she just died on the spot.
My brother and father had replaced plug wires 4-6 years ago but
didn't use copper core. I figured the wires were the culprit... I ran
over to tractor supply and picked up s set of copper universal
wires and installed them. Put on a new cap and rotor while I was
at it. Still no fire at plugs. Amp Meter jumps when cranking and
I'm getting 11-12 volts to coil
