I cannot get rocker lever [intake valve] to contact pump housing when control lever is all the way up when I try to adjust Quadrant according to FO-4 manual. Control lever has to be about one and one half inches from top before lift comes up. Lift does go all the way up at this point. Intake valve is still about 3/8 - 1/2 of inch away from pump housing when I try to adjust Quadrant. Lift does go all the way down. Any help please, thank you

put the quadrant lever in the up position, loosen the 4 bolts, and slide the whole thing around till the rocker lever is where you want it, touching the housing, as shown on page 91 of the FO 4 manual. Hope this helps.

As I stated in my post I have tried adjusting Quadrant according to Manual and no matter where I move it 3/8 to 1/2 inch is as close as I can get rocker lever to pump housing, that"s with touch control lever up and the 4 bolts loose on quadrant, thanks

If the external adjustment won't solve the problem it's time to remove the lift cover and do the internal adjustments. Inspect and probably replace the cam follower pin also. Zane Sherman sell a jig, the pin, and instructions. This make the procedure easier than following the instructions in the FO$ manual

I had lift cover off to replace ram cylinder and piston to fix leak and also replaced pin. I checked internal adjustments according to manual at that time and could not find anything. I also had pump out and replaced parts. Will have to take lift cover back off and recheck, thanks

For some reasons my comments on my post are not in order, which makes this confusing to some including me, sorry
