Manifold Brass Nut

1948 8n, my exhaust was getting loud and found a brass nut or stud is stripped. have parts on there way. what is the best way of removing the nut. it just spins?

If you can put a nut splitter on it that if probably the best way if you can not get it in there a die grinder and cutting wheel and if your careful you maybe able to save the stud

Tlh178,Take the other three nuts loose and off,use a pry bar behind the manifold to apply pressure to the striped brass nut while turning it off the ,bad stud.Drain the block of coolant and remove rusted-bad studs and nuts replace them with new ones. coat the threads of the new studs with some pipe dope or liquid Teflon.
