My friend and I are working on his Ford NAA tractor. Serial number- NAA93688. I believe it is a 1954? 134 ci engine. iIt blew the head gasket. Now we are putting back together. The head gasket we ordered is different than the old one off the tractor. We ordered off this website and it is a metal- clad. All the bolt holes and jackets line up perfect. Did this part replace the old one? Also do we need to replace the head bolts? They are the 7/16 head bolts. Also if anybody knows the Head bolt torque and sequence, rocker arm bolt torque, and Valve clearance. Thank you!

dont bother replacing the bolts unless they are visibly damaged. do make sure they are clean; as well as the holes they are going into before putting it back together. otherwise you wont get accurate torque values. most of the rest of your questions are answered in the manual; highly recommended to have one on hand.

he owns a tractor worth at least a couple thousand dollars. he needs to own a manual that costs 30$...
