Did not want to steal Royse's thread so I started a new one. Here is a video of a rear scoop ion action. I have a steep drive that has sunken in after 80 years. Rain causes the gravel to wash and there is a ditch which diverts the water and gravel off the lower portion of the drive. Video shows an 8N with a rear scoop (King Cutter) removing gravel and carrying it back to the top of the slope. Yeah, I know the brakes squeal. They do that if it is humid and the tractor has sat for a few days. Run the tractor every day and no squeal. Been that way for ten years and the tractor still stops. I also have a Dearborn scoop which I also use for the same job.

I like that, going and recovering the gravel where it washed to. Looks like maybe you need a couple of water bars above.

We have 2 of the same scoops. They are awful handy from hauling gravel to loading with firewood and hauling back to the cabin. We have ours turned around to back into the gravelpit hillside.....of course I live in the land of no hills!

It's hard to convince anyone your doing work when you ride around with a smile all the time.
Great video, my car does the same thing every time it rains.

Nice video Harold, shows one of the many uses for these things.
No worries on a hijacked thread had you posted it on mine.
It's all on the same topic. :)
