forks for bucket on my paulson loader

Would like to know what others have done to put forks on the buckets of their tractors with loaders like the Paulson loader on my ford jubilee.
I had planned to weld square tubing into the bucket then put square tubing inside the welded pieces in the bucket. would secure with pins. My main purpose is to lift logs, carry things that are too long to fit in the bucket. I would taper the ends of the square tubing that fit inside the welded square tubing welded to the bucket. Would use two pieces of square tubing for the forks. Pipe would work but I want whatever I use to be as thin as possible.

Here is a typical industrial design. Simple and effective.

Ive got a like new set of forks four foot that I would part with if you are anywhere in the vacinity of Wis.

i got a 3pt round bale lift . removed the bale spike. drilled 3/4 holes. bolted to floor of bucket. affixed the top to bucket. works good can use on 3pt. too

Pconnie ,
Sounds like a good idea
Wanted to avoid buying commercially made forks due to their expense and the small size of the bucket on my loader. Your forks are certainly a possibility for me

thank you

I know you want something stronger but below is what I use for moving cut stuff and tree trimmings. I just took two tee posts and clamped them to the bucket with two large C clamps. Worked fine for what I needed to do.

Lots of sellers on ebay for the style that slips over the bucket edge, and is secured by chains and binders.
bout a hundred bucks.
a few mods here and there and they look fine (I'd connect them to each other in 2 places to stop them from turning)
or look at the pics of them and make some up.

Caryc,
That is a good idea. I really will not be able to lift a lot of weight with the Paulson loader on my ford jubilee. Looks like a good loader on your tractor.
Thank you,

on the front of 4000 bh ive lifted cars. 20yrs ago cost 100 @ town and country. and on the 3pt carrying pallets, posts, limbs, versatile tool
with light duty loader i would get it close to the loader arms.
if rear gets light, hook up weight, keep load close to the ground, rides like a bronc , kinda fun
have fun,be safe

I made a set for my jubillee loader for around $100.00 . I can send you a photo later. here is an add for one that is "like" mine, just make them the full depth of your buckett. joe

old-9,
would like to see a picture of what you made. Tried to access the link but was unable to open it

Old-9,
Just found a picture of the forks I made for my 1957 case 320. used square box steel 3/16 in and bolted front and back with 1/2 inch bolts. Not the greatest as I have to bolt on and unbolt when I am not using them. Works great for lifting logs and carrying things. Thought about doing the same thing with the bucket on my jubilee but would use 2 x 3 box steel, taper the ends, and bolt to the bucket front and back witgh 1/2 in bolts.

Wow, those are way more expensive than they need to be! I know you were just showing as an example but.... wow. Did a search awhile ago and found them much cheaper, in case anyone is looking for commercially available ones.
