8n has been over heating. I thought it might be over filled, probably was, but looks like the problem is the radiator itself. No leaks, but guy at the radiTor shop says if he fools with it much to unstop it will ruin it. What little I know I've learned here about the 8n radiator. Would I be better off rebuilding what I got, or ordering the nicer of the two available?

Re-core it.

If you get the radiator re-cored, make sure you get the flat fin industrial core. Automotive style cores will clog up w/ debris very quickly

Have your OEM radiator recored if necessary. The ORM radiators fit as intended.

Insist on a flat-finned industrial core.
