I took a little tour

I heard on the radio yesterday morning that one county over, they were having an antique tractor tour. I wasn't planning on going, but I got 3 inches of much neededain last night, that ended up raining out my ropin. I decided to load up, and see what it was all about. There were 57 tractors in it. I ended up knowing the majority of people in, that kinda surprised me. We went 23 miles, and stopped at a volunteer fire department for lunch.

That looks like a lot of fun! I drove my first tractor home, ten or
twelve miles, it was an adventure. My 9N has only gone a mile
or so on the road, I'll bet she'd love a tour. My three mile per
hour Harley!
How much fuel did you use?

The fuel use shocked me. I probably didn't burn but 4 or 5 gallons. The only "job" I have given my 8n yet is bushogging, and it drinks it doing that. I was worried I would make it, but I had a lot of room to spare. The tractor tour thing is bigger than I thought it was. Many of those guys had custom carry alls they had built. They had coolers, cans of fuel, chains, water, and tools. Actually of the 57, I noticed 3 were towed in. I was surprised I wasn't one of them. I haven't had an hour of operation without a break down. I must be getting closer to havering all the kinks worked out. I doubt I do many more, because I already an expensive hobby, but it was fun.
