I knew I had seen the quick clean method before. I know dropping the pump is probably best, but right now I've got a to-do list thats several pages long, so I may do the quick clean just for a little bit of piece of mind, as you said its better than nothing.
my hydraulic fluid is only 8-10 months old, so would it be safe to just strain it thru something and then put it back in once im done? I was thinking of using an old window screen to strain it
