ford 2n milky oil

this tractor had sat for 3 years none running before I purchased it. the oil looked good before purchase . after I fidled with it it ran pretty good no white smoke . could this just be condensation from setting 3 years .i noticed after changing oil next day the oil was milky white.i will leave drain plug out all night and finish oil change. maybe head gasket good oil pressure on gauge

It could be, I would hope for the best.
Assuming its water and not antifreeze.
Oil and water would separate, water on bottom, oil on the dipstick.
Cracking open the drain plug before running may have caught it.
Something to think of for next time, too late this time obviously.
Unless you flush it somehow you'll still have a little water in there.
Might take a couple "short" oil changes to get it all out.
If you have a lot in it again in short order, then I wouldn't think
it was condensation.
