Did some of the Ford made hydraulic accessory valves bolt up to the top cover on the Jubilee or does it take something more creative? I have a valve like that on the 861 I am working on and will power a hydraulic top link cylinder with it. Kind of like the clean mount of a direct bolt on.

No. For an N-series you need to be more creative. Here is one solution:

N-series Top Cover Modification

After making the modification mount and connect An open center control valve to the new tap. Alternatively you can skip the top cover modification and add an engine driven external pump which works even better.

Kirk, that's interesting. Didn't know they made that in a version with a handle. I thought about the diverter and can go that way if necessary. But would rather have a control valve. Can see that the valve would be handy with a scoop or box scrape.

Leonard, I just noticed you are new. Welcome to the forum!

Your profile does not provide any contact info and it is not enabled for email or private message. That's perfectly fine and many of these fine folks do the same. But I can't contact you except through this forum message.
I'll be glad to contact you if you provide me a means to do so. Or you can contact me. I previously posted my info above.

Thanks!

Thanks for the advise and pics. That makes all the difference in the world. The one I posted the picture of clearly is not for an NAA.
Guess I better keep my itchy fingers on the keyboard to pick one up when it shows itself! I already have the cylinder, so I'm part way there.

I guess I should mention that the valve I have shown is more like a diverter valve. In other words with the valve engaged your 3pt arm won't work and your 3pt control quadrant would be used to power what ever you have the valve powered to like a snowplow, ect.

see this question a lot.

Only NAA hydraulic stuff for NAA's (mostly)

Took some pictures to hopefully help

NAA only, accessory cover and valve

Underside of both

On my NAA

on my 600, looks to be the same basic valve with a different base

sorry, nothing I have pictured is for sale....

While tough to find for sale, they are out there and must have been popular. 3 of my NAA's and my 640 all had them when I bought them. And 2 of my NAA's cost less for the whole tractor than I see these valves going for on ebay.

Real good, informative post NNP.
But what worries me is to hear you've been stealing NAAs again.

LOL

I know you like working with basket cases too.

Most of the tractors I buy would have normal buyers

running away and having nightmares.......

You've probably already seen this long ago, so I don't know if this is helpful, but at 18:29 minutes into the 1953 Jubilee Promo video, the underside of the valve plate shows briefly.

Slide the progress bar button to precisely 18:28, start vid and you get a perfect shot of the underside before his hand obscures it.

Yes they did.
Fit only on the NAAs.
They're hard to find though.
Usually more spendy than one for a Hundred too.

Hey UD. Was hoping you would weigh in. So this one...which is listed for a 600, 800, would not fit the NAA?

That's a real old one. I have only seen those on a Hundred Series but I know the valve itself was also used on the NAAs with a different plate.
Looking it over I'm not so sure.
Here are a couple of photos. One of a standard remote for a Hundred/Thousand.
Second photo is of the mount on the top cover on an NAA.
What makes me wonder is the three bolt holes - both in your second photo and my second photo.
The Hundreds all had 4 bolts.
I really am not at all familiar with the NAAs.
Maybe someone here can help.
