I figured we had highjacked Plane Bart's thread enough so I thought I'd post a pic in a new thread.
These are the rims I showed photos of earlier.
I just shot the color on them.
I hope you guys don't mind a little Buff (yellow).
To me they're all Fords and I'm sure there are others here who think the same.

Turned out real nice, almost a shame to get them dirty!
If they're on your tractor though, I'm sure they'll get used.
Tractors aren't much good if they just set around!

Good eye.
I was loathe to cut them off, which is the only way to get them out.
I sandblasted them too.
Maybe they'll work for a while...
A guy might be able to replace these by just breaking the bead on one side.
I agree about paint and rubber.
I didn't paint the tires :)

I just use a pocketknife to cut the "bulge" off the end of the valve stem that's inside the rim. Then I insert the new one into the hole and screw a 4-way tool on the threads where the cap goes, put a little dish soap on it and pull it into place. They can in fact be replaced by breaking one bead loose.

Now you and Donovan have something in common.
They called him mellow yellow too!

I like it!
