date code?

Have hydraulic pump out for repairs and went looking for date code but all I see is part # and a #1 in middle of cover and #2 on test port. Is there supposed to be a date on here some place?

At least I found the blown out gasket.

I don't know about the 9Ns but my 2N had a date code stamped right on the corner by the test port.

Opps, forgot to include this supposed to be a 43 2N according to engine ID#.
Only thing near (on) test port is that #2
