Rick, Sorry it took me so long to get these to you.

Since these rims have tires mounted, I don't know what their condition is inside.

Colin,

Are those two knob-ended bars, tire tools?

None of my business, but if either sets of rims will work for him, I would suggest the top 2 9N's because the 8N left hat box channel looks like it has held a lot of water and rusted from the inside out. Can you poke a screwdriver through it?

Terry

Terry, Those are the radius rods for the 8N. I need to straighten them. Yea, that one hat rim is in pretty rough shape. The other is possibly ok. On the 9N, there's one rim that looks ok, while the other would need some work, if it's salvageable. It could also be used as a donor.

Thanks for the effort Colin. I think I'm just going to order a new one. I use em too much to play around with anything questionable. I was wondering if you just happened to have a tireless serviceable one setting around. But no big deal. Going to have to wait until I get done cutting and baling field this week and the wheat's in. Just too much going on right now.

Wife and son are having a difficult time keeping up with the garden. I think they went too big.

Rick

Rick, Considering how relatively inexpensive a new rim is, I think fixing up one of these rims is a winter project, not one for the craziness of our two months of summer. But if you want one to tinker with come on over. I'll barter you a rim for some help on that '50 8N.

How is your wheat looking? Did you get those oats cut and bailed?

What are they harvesting out of the garden? I'm thinking we'll have tomatoes by October. :p

Colin

I don't know if you have a source yet Rick, but these guys are
local to me and have treated me right. Link
It's hard to beat their return policy: "If It Does Not Fit, If You
Don't Like The Way It looks, If It Is Unused, We take it Back,
We Refund Your Money, No Restocking Fee."
I've never sent anything back, so I haven't tested it.

Colin, decided to harvest the oats too. Wheat is looking very good. We stil have peas producing and blooming, beans, cucumbers, some types of squash, have had a couple of ripe tomato's, rabbit food of various (green leafy horrid stuff) types so it's coming along. I'm going to have more than enough hay so things are looking pretty good.

Need help on that 8N just give me a shout.
