does spray starter fluid help?
have you compression checked her?
It does not help at all. I can get her to crank fine, but not firing up. If I keep trying to crank it will once or twice try to but just a few puffs. Have not checked compression. It's on the long list searching for the trouble. This post was edited by DaleVA at 14:16:50 07/26/14.

It's a 12volt system now. I've been jumping it to my old truck and it spins very well. Still only pops once or twice every so often. Checked the spark again and still bright. It must be fuel. But it seems right. The plugs are never wet with gas after I try for a bit. No flooding but shouldn't they get wet with unburned gas?

There is gas draining from carb bottom. Take the carb back off and check the vacuum. I did put my hand over the air intake of the carb and there was enough suction to fill that part of the carb with gas and it flooded out onto the ground.
