Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see

Left my tiller out for 2 weeks, it rained (stupid me).

Locked up tight when I pushed it into garage. ATF soak for a week, pipe wrench on crank stub shaft. Broke loose with no effort at all.

Mr. Old's cure all elixir...works everytime.

"should i lube pistons before starting"

I would soak them in ATF for a few days.

Sounds like the previous owner had ignition troubles.

Has it been converted to 12V?
Ballast resistor on the back of the dash?

I'm not sure about the welds on the block, not

knowing where they are.
Hopefully the PO cracked the distributor putting it on.

You should have it up and running in no time.

Congrats on the new tractor!
