When they started selling corn gas in my area, I bought some and put into my chainsaws, both saws were in the shop in short order to have the gas lines replaced. The gas lines got soft, swelled up would not let the gas flow.
Replaced the gas lines with gas lines designed to handle ethanol gas, but didn't buy anymore corn gas for my small engines.
In my area of west KY we can still buy non ethanol gas, but do not know how much longer it will be available. Most of my small engines, tillers, mowers have newer engines that were designed to use ethanol gas.
But do not know how the old 1957 Ferguson to35 is going to handle corn gas.
At my auto parts store, I have noticed some products that can be placed in the fuel tank that will help the older motors run the new gas.
I had my old 1958 Johnson outboard motor carb rebuilt to handle ethanol gas, but the old mechanic said do not use it if I do not have to.
