If the lift is not working at all your problem is not the oil.

As TOH said, oil isn't the problem.

Start by checking out tip # 16; post back w/ what you find.

no oil coming out of relief valve,nothing from the top,only turbulance is from the pump pistons. this has a plate on the bottom for a remote hose. hose off and port plugged. could there be a problem with the plate.

Because I think you are looking at the pump base.

Remove an inspection plate. Operate the touch control lever & observe the control rod. Make sure it moves & is attached to the yoke on the pump.

I had the oil drained to check the valve, It is all like it should be. Stumped.

These statements are contradictory:

" no oil coming out of relief valve"

You can not check the pressure relief valve w/o oil in the sump.

You check it by placing an clear plastic hose on it & observing the hose for fluid.

Did you do that?
