Had a nice acre garden at our old house but moved and now the old girls main duties are pulling stumps, hauling wood and road maintenace. Got a blade, tsc culivator and middle buster as well. Also have my grandpas '47 farmall h my dad, uncle and I restored, gotta get a picture of it still. Just want to say thank you to everyone here for all the great information, resources and cool pictures.[/img]

Nice looking tractor.
Welcome to the forum!

P.S. What part of Michigan are you from? I'm in Ionia County.

Good to hear some fellow MI folks survived last winter. Thanks gblj, just moved here from Lenawee like the area so far.

Nice looking toys, I mean tools.
Though I don't envy you having to clamber over the back end of the tractor to get into the seat.
My favorite plow behind an N was a 1-16 Ferguson just like that. Yours is complete with the tail wheel and coulter too. Next time you use it and get it shined up nice take some cheap spray paint and coat the share and moldboard.
FYI, your disc is a Ford model 201 "Flex O Hitch".
I have the same unit.
I just used mine last weekend to disc up a deer plot. I had plowed/disced it in May but didn't get it seeded. Then it's been too wet to get back in there since.
It had 8 discs per gang when I bought it but I cut it down to 6 and 'restored' it a few years ago - sandblast, paint and a couple of new bearings.

Thanks for the tips Ultradog. Hope I can get my disc looking as good as yours. Bought it from a guy who was using it on a dirt bike track, it's pretty beat up but gets the job done. Does the spray paint on the plow help keep dirt from building up?

No, it keeps it from rusting and makes if scour clean faster the next year when you use it again. I have a 2-12 Deerborne plow that the PO hadn't done that to. I plowed nearly 7 acres of sandy loam before it scoured clean.
