8n front mount distributor bushing clearance

Anyone know what the clearance specification between the bushings and breaker cam is? Or a reliable source to find this information? I have a YT FO_9N-2N-8N_SV service manual and didn't come up with anything.

Meant the distributor shaft; part # 9N 12187. Sits in the distributor base; part # 9N 12139 and the distributor plate assembly; part # 9N 12151. There is a bushing in the distributor base and one in the distributor plate assembly. I purchased new bushings from yesterdays tractors and pressed them in after pressing the old ones out. I need to have them honed or reamed so the distributor shaft will fit. Is there a minimum clearance specification between each bushing and each end of the distributor shaft?

Distributor factory specs:

Small end is ground to .4367/.4370" dia.

Large end (base) is ground to .8625/.8630" dia.

The bushing in the base is burnished to .8635/.8640" dia.

Breaker plate assy bushing is burnished to .4373/.4378" dia.

Bottom line.......ream/hone to fit.

You're going to have some wear on that shaft & the bushing ID will be larger to compensate for that wear.

Thank you. Has quite a bit of wear. I know there should be no "wiggle" in the distributor shaft when re installed but should I be able to spin the shaft by hand or does it just need to fit and the tractor will be able to spin it? Any chance you can share where you got those specifications from? Also looking for starter brush wear specifications and whatever other information I can get my hands on.

" should I be able to spin the shaft by hand"

Yes

" Any chance you can share where you got those specifications from? "

From a fellow on the other board who works at CNH.
