I put new bearings in the steering box because of excessive
play the old bearings were destroyed after I put it back
together it still had play and the steering wheel would raise up
a little when turning the wheel. I tried to adjust the play out but
that made it steer hard so I left the play in it. It worked for
about three weeks then failed. I took it back apart to find the
bearings failed again. Are my parts wore out? If anyone knows
these steering boxes like the back of there hand I would sure
