9n 3 point won't hold position

The hydraulics on my 9n works well at lifting and holding position if I have the adjustment lever at the extreme up/down positions. It will stay all the way up, or all the way down only.

I am unable to lower the height of the 3 point part way down and have it stay in place.
It will always creep either up or down and I can"t find the position where it will stay at the height I set.
Would anyone have a tip for where I should be looking to solve this?
 
9/2Ns do not have position control. They only have draft control. Your lift is working the way it was designed. You can add position control with a 'Zane Thang' It is easy to ad and gives very good postion control.

Get the Zane Thang. You wont be disappointed.
Got mine this spring but hadn't put it on.
Broke limiter chains for brush hog and installed Zane Thang.
Shoulda installed before wasting time with chain again.
