A few weeks ago, I posted about how my new proof meter would not work even with a new cable. Come to find out it would work with a drill on the cable end. Ya'll told me the "GRK10 Years:1950-52 Governor Shaft Bushing(For Proofmeter Cable) " was missing so I ordered it. When it gets here how do I install it? Does it just slip into the hole where the cable screws onto without having to remove the governor? Thanks, Gary.
I rebuilt the governor about 10 years ago and that was probably one of the parts I had "left over"....yeah, ya'll know how that goes...lol :shock:
