9n 12 volt conversion

After converting my 9n to 12 volts alternator does not charge.
Instructions say to start tractor, hook jumper wire from battery
terminal to r terminal momentarily. Problem is there is no r
terminal on this alternator. There is a battery terminal a w
terminal and a d terminal. Any ideas? Thanks

If using 10SI, "r" maybe be labeled "1"

So did I, but I think he was asking souNdguy directly. Not sure.
In any event, hopefully he has it fixed now and will let us know.
