my 8-n touch control will only move about 1" (at the end of the handle). the trouble appears to be under the lift cover but I sure can t see it. I was hoping it would be obvious.the flange that the handle fastens to was rusted to the shaft and the cork was shot. fixed that but wasn t the trouble of course cause the flange is keyed to the shaft. the handle moves real free but only about 1". thanks in advance for any ideas. sam k.
