Hmmmm . . . maybe not so vegematic after all. :)

Looks like the top screw on each, screws into the post
and the side screws bite into the existing clamp.

One of my Austin battery cables has a lead cap that fits down over the post and a center screw that goes down into the post after a pilot hole is drilled. I thought it was kinda cool actually . . . less exposure of the post to oxygen, thus inhibiting corrosion and no nut and bolt to mess with.

You'll have to write Santa and thank him for putting this in your stocking!

Over rated! Starts just fine & has for years. If I clean it, there might not be any metal remaining! What if corrosion is only conductor that I have left?!:wink:
 
I installed one of these a couple years ago. I just unscrew the green knob completely when I'm done using the tractor.

The battery holds it's charge and I don't get any corrosion. It does work.
