Snap in battery cover

Saw post early today by a guest on the forum asking about the early snap in battery covers. I can't find the post now but I believe it was from a guest by the name of ( edie ? ) To answer your question I have one extra reproduction snap in cover and I think I'm going to hold on to it. I can't recall the mans name I got it from as it was a few years back here in Florida at one of our shows. The one in my tractor I got from the man I bought the tractor from at the time I bought it. One of the regular posters hear HCooke might know of source for them? Anyone else know where to find one?

May I suggest putting the cover in the truck when you haul
it on the trailer and putting it back on once you arrive?
Seems like a simple thing to do and would sure beat losing it!
