The estate rep needs a bid on the saw rig. Told her you only wanted the blade. The rig itself is not worth much, just the blade. Give me a bid for the blade and I will forward it to her. I will recycle the remainder of the dangerous left overs.

Questions from the husband: What kind of blade is it? Is it a standard steel blade or insert tooth? Im guessing its a saw like ours? If so any salvageable parts on the whole set up? If so we'd be interested in the whole thing I suppose. I paid $150 for the whole buzz saw so I wouldn't want to pay anymore than $75 for the blade I suppose. Another ? where would we have to pick it up at?

Lisa,
The blade is a standard steel plate blade. The blade if purchased on line would be about $100.00 new. The only place I have seen an insert tooth blade is on a saw mill which is intended to cut through logs end to end.The saw rig is home made and is not even close to what you have now. Your rig is much safer than this saw. It has a fly wheel which is intended to keep it going between cuts.I looked at the blade again today and it looks in very good condition and is very close to 30 inches in diameter. I would recommend no more than $50.00 for the blade. Let me know what you think. A couple of years ago I would have delivered it to Fargo/Moorhead when my kids were going to school in Moorhead. HTH
