like to thank Zane for the live thang I now have it installed and works like a champ. I have a little drift when I take an implement was curious if this is normal. Live hydro sure makes it a different tractor

I want to save my pennies and get one of these. I'm sure it will spoil me. Sure would be nice to not have to run the PTO all the time when using a back blade or scoop, or other non PTO implements. Have fun!!

Mine occasionally drifts a little when it is down low with no, or little weight on it. I can't remember if it did the same before but it has never been a problem. I have never noticed it when the tractor was actually in use, only when preparing/hooking up an implement.

It IS a different tractor, isn't it?? For some reason I caught myself going in to neutral to let the clutch out to operate the lift at the end of a row a couple days ago! Muscle memory, I guess, even after having the LH kit installed for several months now. Just kind of chuckled to myself and shook my head.

What I'd really like now is a hydraulic top link!! As mentioned above, it would make the scoop, blade and boom pole seem like brand new, improved implements!! One day, in the not too distant future, I hope!!

Anyone have a link for this thing?

One of the gurus will come along shortly probably but just for a quick and dirty....

An external pump is mounted to your tractor, driven by the engine (either direct drive from the front shaft or belt driven along with the alternator or generator) and then plumbed into the existing hydraulic system. Fluid is provided to the new pump from the existing sump in the belly via a hose connected to the belly pump drain. The high pressure fluid is routed to the test port on the belly pump. Then, anytime the engine is running (whether it's in or out of gear, in neutral, at high RPMs or idle, and with or without the PTO engaged) you have hydraulics....

hydro top link sounds really good but momma is starting to frown a little after buying the hydro and then buying some steel for a boom and carry all. (toys she claims) I will let her simmer a week or to and give it a try for a Sherman combo and yes my left leg did the same thing yours did and my rt hand was looking for the shifter Mr. Mbramble LOL. now the ole Ford thinks shes a JD 4020. lol
