First let me say how much I like the help from this site! My latest project is a 1951 8N that hasn't run in a few (?) years. So far (from lessons learned here) I did a dry compression check, then wet w/MMO, then loosened a stuck valve, primed oil pump, re-did wiring, ran starter until oil pressure came up, a small squirt of starter fluid (no gas tank on it), and, after getting it to fire added my temporary tank & it started & ran! The main problem was a key switch replaced w/a faulty light switch!
Now on to the next problem - the right brake pedal is frozen SOLID. I have squirted w/PBblaster a couple times. What do I check first? Pull the hub & explore??
As always, any help appreciated.
