Boom pole ID?

I bought a boom/lift pole the other day that is a design like I've not seen before. The seller told me it was built by Ford but it looks homemade to me. What do you think? Either way it's very well built and far heavier than a TSC pole.

I can't help you on the ID, but now I gotta go dig mine out.
I think it's identical, sans paint.

ScoutB,
Just a little friendly advice.
You are probably a very safe implement user, but please be
careful with that open hook end!
With my luck I would accidentally jerk the pole and have my
load either totally come off the end or come sliding down the
pole!
Could be a bad scene!
Don"t mean to scare you....
If anything an FYI to someone out there that may be too hasty with things.

I would probably weld me a rod on top to close the hook.

Regards,
Greg

A little weight on the end will also give you power steering!!

(quoted from post at 11:50:19 04/16/14) That doesn't look anything like my Ford boom pole that still has the Ford ID plate riveted to it.
That's what I thought. It seems like Ford would have done something more official than building off a drawbar.
