1949 8N pto extension??

Wondering if ford ever offered a pto extension that bolted on. The tractor has been sitting for years, went to get it out of the shed and found this:

about 14" long
same 4 bolt pattern that is around the original pto shaft
painted ford red
has a female end that slips on the original shaft
has a regular pto male shaft at the other end
grease fitting in the cast iron housing that i assume has "carrier" bearings in it

Wish i had a picture for everybody. Not too familar with fords. Any ideas on what this is?

Is this what you have?

Thanks for the info. That picture is what I have. Just missing the safety shield. These must not be rare. Are they worth anything?
