Overrunning Clutch

My 2n has a overrunning clutch installed. I can't figure out how to get the thing off the tractor. Could anybody enlighten me?

emove the two grease zerks/or plugs. Then with Pto in gear so as to keep PTO shaft stationary, rotate the shell of the coupler until you see/feel the roll pin . Then drive the roll pin out thru the other side.
 
if the drawing isnt clear , you must remove the grease zerks, and line up the zerk holes with the pin on the inner part of the over running clutch, it will be a little ofset and will only line up 1 way, then use the correct size drift punch or old drill bit to tap it out with a hammer, use care, it probably wone take a huge hammer to knock that pin out, once done it just slides off the pto shaft
 
Thanks for the reply. I figured it had something to do with removing the grease zerks. I took them out but didn't see anything but grease in there. I'll fish around and find the roll pin.

I presume you have a good reason for removing it. I mean, you do know it's a safety device, right?

I don't use the PTO for anything, so I figured I'd take the clutch off and put a cover on it.
 
If you don't have a rotary cutter attached to the tractor/PTO then an ORC us more of a safety hazard than anything else.
I was always scared of that darned thing spinning around with those grease zerks sticking out just waiting to catch something on.
All just to run your 3 point.
That's why I preferred the type in the photo.
Push the button and it slips off.
