Replacement for 8N snow plow

I am looking for something in addition to my 8N for
snow removal. I am looking at a 2006 AGCO ST22A
tractor with 240 hours with an attached loader with
an asking price of $9,000. I understand it to be a
22.5 HP 3 cylinder diesel 4 wheel drive with a
hydro transmission. I believe it was made by Iseki
in Japan. Anyone know anything about these
tractors? Any idea on how well they hold up and the
availability of parts?

Check around to find out about your AGCO dealers in your area. Our sucks and it's about 60 miles to a decent one. The nearest one will be "Johnny on the spot" to sell a new tractor but his parts and service are terrible.

Used within it's design limits it should be OK. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about them. Check to see if you can find a Compact Utility forum.

You can usually find better info on the more modern tractors on tractorbynet.
I would check that site out. You may have to join but that is rather painless.

Pretty close to my Kubota B7200 - little heavier and a couple more ponies. You are going to find the 3pt and loader are a little on the light side for heavy work. While I like my Kubby if I was starting from scratch I'd be looking for something a bit bigger - e.g. 24" rubber and 2000+ pounds.Other than low hours (if you believe it) that price is nothing special....
