Ferguson 35

I have a chance to pic up an F35 sitting in overgrown weeds. Since I don"t know anything about Fergies, I came here for a quick education. LOL

It has A 3 Speed tranny With H-S-L and excellent sheet metal, but bad tires. The left fender has built-in tool box and the rear wheels are the spin adjustable type.

My questions are what is the year and would you pay $200 for a tractor you knew nothing about?

THANKS for all your help.

It would be worth that and then some, in parts.
If you're going to fix it, you already know what tires cost.
So once you find out what's wrong you could decide
whether to fix it or part it.
That's what I would do. A $200 gamble, knowing I could part it.

Royse,
That"s kind of what I was thinking. Do you know the year with this little info and no serial #? THANKS

Unfortunately no, not enough information there.
TO-35 was 1954-1960 and then the F35 from '60-'65 I believe.
If that narrows it down any.

$200 bucks! Holy buckets! If I knew where that tractor was I sure wouldn't be sitting in front of the computer. Grab it before the seller realizes their foolishness.

I don't know anything about Fergies, but a non running N in my neck of the woods is generally north of $500.

knowing its color may or may not help if it has been re-painted.
with hi/lo trans it is most likely a 35 of some sort
diesel or gas?
pwr steering?

Yes I would pay it. For $200 even with a cracked engine(which the TOs are known for) it's worth more in parts and scrap. For that price you can't beat it.

if you buy it and decide to part it out I could use the fuel line from carb to gas tank.

i agree with jerrybigrig. i think you should give me the contact info and let me look at it first :)

jennifer408. As I can remember it looks almost to be in the shape as your pic. But tires are totaled, and one headlight is hanging. I should be hearing from him this weekend with his answer to my offer. At which time I will post pics. Thanks to all for your time and input.

I should be hearing from him this weekend with his answer to my offer.
He's only asking $200 & you made him an offer??
Dang man, that's just mean! :p
