Last weak I did a post about having weak spark on my 9n front mount square coil converted to 12v. Many of you answered my questions with some great answers. Thank you. I removed the distributor, coil, cap, and sent them with my son who is a mechanical engineer. He took it to work with him and a group of fellow engineers tested everything with all of their equipment and couldn"t find anything wrong with it. We reinstalled everything today and tried it out. Everything is working fine now. I have no idea why, but I"ll take it.

Yep could be moisture and it could be that somewhere there was a dirty connection that taking it apart and putting it back together took care of.

Took it to work and is his work place a heated building?? May have had some moisture in it that was shorting it out which in turn will kill spark. Just a guess but could happen

That may be the whole thing. Moisture. That's probably what it was.
