Oh my gosh, Paul! So glad you're okay and back home. Sheesh! What is this about lymphoma though? I think it's time you convince Brian to finish insulating and get heat in your shop so you've got a comfy place to work on those Ns and that UB.

Take care my friend and God Bless you!

Thanks Colin.

The docs were looking at both ultrasound of beating heart and then a CT scan of the heart but also going down to the kidneys. They saw spots from heart down through the area of the kidneys. They believed the spots were on the lymph glands (and probably were). The Docs pulled together a team of expert people and it had them all worried. The definitive test would be a biopsy of one or more of the spots they were seeing. But with the new stents and the blood thinners, they could not do a biopsy without putting me at too great a risk for a hemotoma and all sorts of very serious complication risks. Fortunately the young oncologist lady knew that lyme can give similar spots on Lymph as seen on CT. I have had many scary threats of possible cancer through the years and have complied with many tests, all negative. But the possible diagnosis is plenty scary. At this point in time, I am just going to believe my own Lyme diagnosis and let her follow up with timed CT scans. The more she learns from this, the better it will be for others with Lyme.

I wish we lived closer!

I'm glad to hear that the oncologist was familiar with lymes and I hope that your self diagnosis is right. Often times we have a better gut sense of our bodies than the specialists do. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and prayers going for you that you're right.

I too wish we lived closer. It'll probably be spring before we make it down that way again, but I will let you know. Give my love to Terry.
