Does anyone have a list of all the parts i need to run the 3 point hitch? the tractor i bought has nothing back there at all, just the mounting points :p haha.

But a good list for me to start sourcing and buying the stuff, or a contact for someone who could ship me all the parts would be awesome.

First off what model tractor do you have. Never heard of a N series not having 3 point but some of the newer models like the 601/801 could come from the factory with out 3 point and many of those parts are not the same as other models so got to know what you have for us to help you help your self

Looks like the back end of an N. Here's a list of what I think you need. You can get all the parts from this site, by looking in the upper left corner under tractor parts.

1.....Left side link rod
1.....Right side leveling box assembly
2.....Knuckles
4.....Knuckle pins
2.....Lower lift arms
2.....Check chain eyelets
1.....F04 service manual.

I'm sure there will be others to help confirm and add to the list. Mark

Ok so you have the basic lift parts you just need to 3 point arms and the lift link arms. Most any good farm and home will have the 3 point arms the the lift link arms. Better take a picture of Franklin with you since it will cost very close to that for what you need

Here are some numbers to go along with the previous post.

9N 555-RH Lower Lift Link Assembly.
9N 556-LH Lower Lift Link Assembly.
9N 564-A Hydraulic Lift Rod.
9N 585 Hydraulic Lift Leveling Rod.
9N 5182 Drawbar

What the deal with his extended PTO shaft? Is that a conversion from 1 1/8 to 1 3/8? It he doesn't do something about that looks like he will find himself shorting all the drive shafts for implements he wants to run. Might he want to get rid of that and get an ORC that would do the same thing?

Trevor, speaking as someone who has purchased some of those very parts, you better take more than one picture of Franklin when you visit the farm supply store!

I don't think Old has been out shopping recently!

And, a question for Del, Old, et al.: what's that on Trevor's PTO? (Edit: Fuddy Duddy posted his question about the PTO while I was typing.)

On one like that who knows what may have been done or used for over the years.

Ya have not priced some of that stuff in a while.
As for that odd extension who knows for sure what it is. May have been for some sort of thing like a buzz saw drive or some other such thing. I have seen those before but do not remember what it was used for

The PTO extension was used with corn pickers to move the pivot point of the PTO shaft U joint closer to the draw bar. Otherwise it would bind and vibrate when turning around at the end of a row.
