I just watched the series of videos on youtube about the 53 Jubilee rebuild at Ed's Garage.

Watching it now makes a rebuild less intimidating and I know I can "get er done" when the time comes.

Don't know if he is on this site but putting those videos together is a time consuming task. Thanks.

He has a video on that. Go to youtube and look for Edz garage.
 
The lip on the neoprene seal should face in towards the oil but he put the lip facing out. I've never heard of putting the rope seals in the location he did, I agree with you, use one or the other.

I think he caught that..

He did not seal the cap to the block were the cap bolts to the block and those wedge seals dropped right in :shock:
