6V genny Bracket

One last attempt to see if anyone has one that they can part with. It"s the band that goes around a 4 1/2" genny to provide tensioning control. Weather is changing so I have to move on this. I have no time to fab one.

Thank you,
John

s I recall, you have an 8N generator, so if it has correct rear bracket, I don't see any reason you can't tension using the little 3rd leg just as the early 8Ns did.

Or, if you really get in a pinch: :)

That"s interesting JMOR...especially the pic showing the bungee cord. I thought of that as in a pinch. This gen I have has a longated slot cut into the lower bracket similar to the one in your pic. The 3rd leg is not there but wouldn"t be hard to fabricate with a "L" shape maybe.. Thank you for what might be the solution here for what might work till I find something more permanent.

COOL. I'll stay tuned. Email is on if preferred or I check here daily. I have some installs today but will be back this evening.
Thanks WC

Ultra - Were we discussing this? Been so busy here with many things I didnt remember mentioning this. But your mentioning it got my attention as I decided to tackle it myself. Doesnt mean anyone is going to pay me though. Had to cut new water lines & re-route them since new didnt match old plus I wanted new valves I could rely on, new drain lines to match up to the vanity and a utility sink for the dog. It was fun somewhat but very rewarding. This house is a work in progress while running a commercial sign company...then theres this tractor outside, building 3 rifles & loading for em is the tip of the berg.
Lovin life tho!

I did some plumbing this morning for Rod (Wild Child).
We're friends but he always gouges me on parts and even charges me a toll to drive in his driveway.
So I'm happy to turn the tables on him.
Gonna charge him $999.99/hr. :)

OH NO !!! That's gonna bounce back on me for the genny bracket he's sending me tomorrow...so I'll be paying you for the plumbing... :) Maybe I could toll the mailman..Hmmmmmmmmmm.....
